First Aid and Health Facilities in the College

The First Aid Committee of the college has been established keeping in view the health and safety of students and staff members. The committee remained active throughout the year and provided its services on various occasions.

Major Activities:

  1. First Aid Training Camp
    In August 2024, the committee organized a one-day training camp. Students were trained in providing first aid for minor injuries, fainting, burns, snake bites, and accidents.

  2. Emergency Services
    Throughout the year, the committee ensured timely first aid during any unexpected situations on campus. During sports competitions and cultural events, immediate medical assistance was provided to injured or unwell students.

  3. Health Check-up Camp
    To promote health awareness, a free health check-up camp was held in September 2024. Blood pressure, sugar levels, and general health assessments of students and staff members were conducted.

  4. Cleanliness & Awareness Campaign
    Under the “Swachhata Hi Seva” initiative, the committee spread awareness among students about personal hygiene, cleanliness, and disease prevention.

  5. Availability of Medicines and Equipment
    The committee ensured that the college First Aid Centre was well-stocked with essential medicines and equipment. Regular inspection and replenishment of First Aid Boxes were carried out.

Conclusion:
Throughout the session, the First Aid Committee played an important role in safeguarding the health of students and staff. Moving forward, the committee aims to continue spreading health awareness and providing prompt medical assistance in emergencies.
